The PG Advisory Group consists of Postgraduate Research (PGR) students from across the university and at all stages of study. The group engage with the Doctoral School as key advisors on a variety of subjects including the development and design of our new annual programmes, events, activities and initiatives throughout the academic year.
The aim of the advisory group is to bring the student perspective firmly into all that we do at the Doctoral School and to give PGR students direct input into the decisions that affect their university experience. The group also encourages PGR students to become advocates for engagement more broadly across the student population.
In return for their involvement we are able to offer PGR students the chance to design future themes for our programme, test our approach and success, and network with academics and external organisations (all with plenty of coffee and cake thrown in!).
We are currently seeking new members to join the advisory group, and invite all new and continuing PGR students to be part of this fantastic opportunity.
